American maker of tube audio electronics – amplifiers, preamplifiers and phono stages. VTL creates extremely musical equipment ranging from fairly affordable fare to statement pieces like the Siegfried Reference mono series. For some time, there were using the tagline “Made in Chino, not China” which for those familiar with the lovely suburban city outside of Los Angeles always brings a grin.
